There is a constant hissing, white noise, fucking buzzing, sometimes shrieking, things that block out my ability to hear, my desire to listen. Someone numb. That's who I want to be. Someone numb. Not this shrieking, buzzing, hissing thing, not this person who shakes at the slightest sound, can't walk because of clumsy legs brought on by anxiety.
